5-Year Structural Warranty
Every BonnetVault storage unit is backed by a 5-Year Structural Warranty from the original date of purchase.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential indoor use.
What's Covered
- Structural defects in the steel frame or panels
- Manufacturing defects affecting the safe operation of the product
- Faulty hinges, locks, gas struts and supplied hardware
What's Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect installation by anyone other than BonnetVault or an authorised installer
- Misuse, accidental damage or neglect
- Alterations or modifications
- Commercial or industrial use
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
- Incorrect measurements supplied by the customer
- Installation into an unsuitable space
- Damage caused by fire, flooding, impact or other external events
Delivery & Installation
Every BonnetVault unit is carefully inspected and securely packaged before dispatch.
Damage caused by improper handling, incorrect installation, misuse or excessive force is not covered by this warranty.
Professional Installation Guarantee
All BonnetVault installations are completed by our experienced team in accordance with our installation standards.
If any issue arises as a direct result of our installation workmanship, we will rectify it at no additional cost.
Warranty Conditions
To make a warranty claim:
- Proof of purchase is required.
- The product must have been installed and used as instructed.
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
Making a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please provide:

Returns & Refunds
Change of Mind
As BonnetVault products are large, specialised storage systems, returns for change of mind are only accepted where agreed in writing by BonnetVault.
Faulty or Damaged Products
Please inspect your product upon delivery or installation.
If you identify any damage or manufacturing defect, notify us within 7 days and provide photographs where possible.
Return Conditions
If a return has been approved:
- The product must be returned in its original condition.
- All supplied parts, fittings and hardware must be included.
- Return arrangements must be made in consultation with BonnetVault.
Where the return is not due to a manufacturing defect, removal, transport and reinstallation costs remain the customer's responsibility.
Returns Not Accepted For
- Incorrect measurements
- Unsuitable installation space
- Failure to obtain required Body Corporate or Strata approval

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
